Dying inkberries
Over the past few years I’ve put in five inkberries into a shaded corner of my backyard. Only one is still living. Do you have any recommendations for a shrub or evergreen plant that would work in a shady area? - William -

How much shade? Dense, filtered light? Ideas to try would be arborvitae, yew and juniper but with time all can be thin. Also keep in mind all evergreens are going to need even moisture so watering in dry periods is a must for the shade.
