Fall soil prep
Take advantage of the nice weather and start preparing your garden soil for spring. This past weekend I spaded my garden working in a couple inch layer of leaves. Over winter they should break down and add more organic matter. Come spring lightly rake the garden and I am ready to plant. - Dennis, Johnson County Extension -
