KC Gardens

Plant sale ends Saturday

Q&A

From the Greater Kansas City Gardeners of America:

The 44th annual Greater Kansas City Gardeners of America plant sale lasts through Saturday, April 20.

Once again we have a wide assortment of annuals and perennials, including shade-loving and deer-resistant plants.

We also have 24 (!) different varieties of tomatoes, including 7 heirlooms, 15 varieties of peppers, plus all these other veggies: eggplant, cucumber, cantaloupe, watermelon, zucchini, yellow squash, acorn squash, butternut squash and pumpkin.

And don’t forget your herbs. You’re going to need them to season all those vegetables!

This annual sale helps fund our Community Garden Grants and Horticulture Scholarship programs.

We’re located at Gomer’s Square, 99th & Holmes. Come out and talk a little gardening!
