One of the local weather announcers said our temperatures are more like late November/early-December. It seems like since August, our temperatures have been fast forwarded by about 3 weeks.
If the temps are unseasonably cooler than normal, shouldn't I do my last fertilization NOW? I'm afraid if I wait until November, my lawn will be dormant and unable to utilize the last feeding for the year.

November fertilization
Hello,
Gugsi is correct. Wait until November to do the November fertilization. The soil will stay warm enough for the grass roots to be able to intake the nutrients and store sugars for next spring.
Waiting for Indian summer,

Wait
Your lawn's topgrowth will slow down and stop growing when the temps are consistently below about 50-55 degrees, but the root systems will continue to develop until the ground (not the air) freezes. I know the forecasters are a little gloomy right now, but they're also calling for 63 degrees by next Sunday! I would wait until November.
