Gardening 101 is geared for new home owners and anyone who wants to improve their existing landscaping. Taught by University of Missouri Extension Master Gardeners of Greater Kansas City, the class covers the basics of landscaping principles; soil types; and plant selection featuring tried-and-true trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals for the Kansas City area plus garden maintenance.
The three-week course begins Sept. 22, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, at the Park Hill Education Center, 7703 NW Barry Road, Kansas City, MO 64153.
